Our History

Our history...

The ristorante Ricciolo raises in 1989, on desire of the owners Giorgio e Giusy Fasoli. Both of them engaged from many years in this sector, Giorgio already chef de service in St. Moritz, at Crystal Hotel between early 70s and 80s, with experiences at London Claridge's, Munich Park Hilton and Cernobbio Grand Hotel Villa d'Este, and back in Italy near home: at Hotel Griso in Lecco. Similar is the history of Giusy. Receptionist at Crystal Hotel, where she knows her husband. She goes down to the lake in early 80s, always as responsable of the rception at Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio. Giusy then became at once, the fantastic cook of our restaurant. Since 1989 Ricciolo means sweet water fish, cooked in a creative manner, mixing taste, traditions and genuinity. Today, in 2009, Fasolis are on the threshold of 20 years activity, happy to give, to the lake fish, the right consideration, the right coupling, with a passion destined to last longer and longer.....
